Coping...

Well. My platelets dropped to 60,000 but I go tomorrow for my next Rituxan treatment. It will be my first with other patients getting chemo. I have a feeling this is when it's going to sink in a bit more.

I saw my DR yesterday since I was there to get my blood checked because the prednisone had my body hurting so much and even the pain medicine tthe hospital gave me wasn't helping. He only lowered the dose and told me to take it twice a day and not once. I still have a constant stiffness in my back but it's not unbearable with medication. Plus, I'll see my moms chiropractor soon. The jaw ache is still there quite a bit. Eating something small sometimes feels like I've been chewing steak forever. I'm actually using a product called Arnicare instead of the hydrocodone. It's a ygel you rub on sore spots and then you also take these tiny pills that taste like sugar and let them melt on your tongue. It works amazingly! I'm not a fan of pain killers so this stuff is great because it's a homeopathic medication.

Nervous about tomorrow.
