Back Pain

Another night in the ER again. Luckily, I didn't have to stay for days.

I'm in a lot of pain now but we don't know why. ITP doesn't cause pain. I thought maybe my platelets had dropped severely again because that does give you back pain. This just feels different. It's my back from the middle down and my sides. I'm so stiff I don't want to walk or sit but standing feels like I could just drop right over. It's sensitive in those areas if I touch them, too. The migraine pressure doesn't want to ease up either.

So, I got a CAT scan finally and they did an x-ray on my stomach. Which now that I think about it, I don't know what those have to do with back pain... Hmm...

Everything came back fine. He said I have some sinus build up which could be from the bloody noses, I'm sure, so that could be the pressure in my head. They also checked my platelets and they're at

87,000!! WOW!

So, I'm thrilled about that, at least!

They gave me hydrocodone for my pain but I haven't noticed it working at all. I've never taken pain medicine so I don't know what would work for me. We're hoping the pain is just from my body going through so much from the start of all this and most likely mental stress. The Rituxin and Prednisone shouldn't cause pain either.

My moms chiropractor does want to see me and I'll probably go for a massage soon. Then, if the pain is still there I guess I wait.

Let's hope it goes away soon.
